What Happens To Us When We Die?
Why are we here on earth?

What Happens To Us When We Die?
Who are we?
Who are we?
Where did we come from?
Where did we come from?

**God is our Father and we lived with Him in the Premortal world (Premortal life) before we were born on this earth as part of His family. Just like most earthly fathers, God wants what is best
for us and to give us the opportunity to grow to be like Him--all wise, all good, all knowing. So He
devised a plan which makes it possible to come to this earth to receive a body, experience,
much needed knowledge, and then return to live with Him after this life.
**God put a Veil of Forgetfulness between His home and Earth so that we could grow, learn,
and live by faith.
**Because Adam and Eve fell, they made it possible for all of us to come to this earth
and get a body and the experience we needed--without which we could not progress.
—yet because of the Fall, we became subject to Death, both physical death (separation from the body)
and spiritual death (separation from God).
**Jesus Christ is central to God's plan. We needed a Savior. Jesus Christ's atoning sacrifice conquered
spiritual death. His atoning sacrifice conquered our sins so that when we live His gospel, He will
mercifully forgive our sins and heal our guilt, sorrow, shame, loss, sadness, griefs, and pain. By living
His gospel, we find peace and real happiness.
**As part of the Plan, will each experience physical death, or our spirit's separation from our body,
after which we will live in the Spirit World, either in a state of misery (Spirit Prison) or a state of peace
and rest (Paradise), depending on the choices we have made in life.
**Jesus Christ conquered death so we will all be resurrected, or reunited with our bodies--
immortal--never to die again, free from disease, pain, and suffering.
**After resurrection, we will be judged according to our works here on earth and the desires
of our heart, sent to kingdoms which best suit us. If we have repented of our sins, we will receive
mercy. If we have fully lived the gospel of Jesus Christ, we will receive eternal life in God's presence.
GOD'S PLAN OF HAPPINESS

This little visual of God's Plan of Happiness and Salvation is purely my own representation-- Not LDS (Mormon) Church sanctioned.
It just helps me to convey God's Plan a little more clearly.
I love God's Plan of Happiness. Knowing why I am here and where I am going helps me to make better decisions in this life. Knowing helps me if I am facing a difficult challenge or annoyance in this life, because
I realize that sometimes the things I spend so much time worrying about here on earth won't really matter in the eternities. Knowing that each person is a literal sister or brother of mine, and that my brother, Jesus Christ, suffered and died for me and for them, makes it so much easier to forgive others if I am offended or hurt. Knowing God's plan for me, that He loves me, that He is my Father, gives me hope, peace, and comfort.
